My floral pictures are not examples of ideal images of flowers.  Rather, they are images of the local flora in their natural environment.  I look for colors and patterns, just as I do for my Beyond Fractal series, but with a more intimate perspective.  I also look for interesting moments in the lifecycle of the flowers, particularly their demise, when their forms and colors change in unique ways for each flower.
