Beyond Fractals:
Intimate Images of Natural Patterns
Photographs by Neil Goldstein
The "golden hour" of wonderful colors at sunset is famous. To me, Northern California sunsets are even more special because of the reflection of light off the ocean or bay, the sky, and the sand, and off the bottom of the fog that often hides offshore all day and becomes visible as the air cools. The scenes may not be as complicated as my pattern pictures, but the colors are often more stunning.
